They simply enter their phone number and press “call” and your 3CX server will immediately call them on the phone and automatically connect them to the desired extension. This extension can be a Ring Group, Call Queue, Digital Receptionist, user extension… any valid extension within 3CX

A small Relay service is installed on your 3CX server (you literally just click “next” and you are done), while the API can be installed on any server that can communicate with your 3CX server. To Install the API and sample website requires 3 super-simple steps (1) tell the installer the address of your 3CX server, (2) enter the 3CX extension that will receive your customer calls, and (3) enter the license key and registration.

When you install 3CX Click To Call, the sample web site provides a working example already connected to your 3CX server, plus all the sample code you need to incorporate the control into your website. The sample website includes examples for ASP.Net MVC and ASP.net Web Forms in both C# and VB, but you can use any language you choose because the API uses an industry standard REST based API.

While technically required, we recommend you install 3CX Recording Manager on a separate virtual machine or physical server.
3CX prefers that nothing be installed directly on the 3CX server other than 3CX. This includes anti-virus, SQL Server, etc. This greatly simplifies the environment they have to support, and may improve reliability.
